Let Go and Let God
Today, I came across this poem that I had to share. The author is Lauretta P. Burns. It is a reminder to lay our problems, along with our hopes and dreams at the Masters feet – then leave them there.
Let Go and Let God
As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend, I brought my broken dreams to God because He was my friend. But instead of leaving Him in peace to work alone I hung around and tried to help, with ways that were my own. At last I snatched them back and cried, “How can you be so slow?!” “My child”, He said, “What could I do? you never did let go.”Posted on 06/14/2011, in Life in General and tagged dreams, future, God, hope, Peace. What a beautiful poem. Sometimes all it takes is faith. Thanks for sharing.
I’d like to link to your blog. I have a new writing blog at http://shelleddreams.wordpress.com/ Perhaps we could add each other to our blogrolls?
